Apple Updates iBooks, Find My iPhone & More for New iPad

Apple’s day-long update-palooza on Wednesday saw the unveiling of new iPad models with higher resolution displays, the release of iPhoto for iOS, and updates for several apps including iBooks, Find My iPhone, and Find My Friends.

iBooks 2.1 added iPad Retina Display support, fixed page numbering to match printed editions for certain books, added single-tap support for jumping to specific pages, improved swipe-to-highlight, and improved stability.

Find My iPhone 1.4, Find My Friends 1.1, and iTunes U 1.1 added Retina Display support, fixed several bugs and improved overall stability.

All of the apps are available as free downloads through Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
