Apple Updates iTunes LP for Apple TV November 6th, 2009 at 8:52 AM - News by Jeff Gamet Apple began alerting customers on Friday morning that Apple TV-compatible versions of the iTunes LP albums they've purchased are available and ready for download. iTunes LP albums were initially compatible only with iTunes on Mac OS X and Windows. The iTunes 9.0.2 and Apple TV 3.0 updates, however, added support for playing iTunes LP content on Apple TV. iTunes LP is a special album format that includes additional content such as liner notes and behind the scenes videos. The email notifications customers are receiving include links to redownload Apple TV-compatible versions of the iTunes LP albums they have already purchased. You can also check for updates in iTunes.
