Apple Updates Unibody MacBook Firmware

Apple released a series of firmware updates for its late 2008 MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air models late on Wednesday. The updates address stability issues and MagSafe power connector indicator and battery light accuracy.

MacBook EFI Firmware Update 1.3, MacBook SMC Firmware Update 1.2, MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.6, MacBook Pro 15-inch SMC Firmware Update 1.2, MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 1.1, and MacBook Air SMC Firmware Update 1.1 require Mac OS X 10.5.5 or higher, and are available for download at the Apple Support Web site.
