Apple Video Highlights Mountain Lion Features

· by · News

If you aren’t a developer, Apple won’t let you try out OS X Mountain Lion yet, but you can check out some of the OS’s new features right away thanks to a video that shows Messages, Reminders, Notes, and more in action.

Apple introduced OS X Mountain Lion on Thursday with plans to ship the new Mac operating system some time this summer. The upgrade will add more iPad-based features to the Mac such as Notifications, AirPlay Mirroring, and system-level Twitter integration.

The new OS will also offer tighter iCloud integration, along with a new feature called Gatekeeper that lets users control where the apps they download come from.

The OS X Mountain Lion feature highlight video is available at the Apple website.

My only question is: Is Contacts better than Address Book?
If yes, what new features does it have?

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part but some of the MacBook Air systems in the video looked bigger than existing systems

A sneak preview of a 15” model maybe?
