Apple has already updated its MobileMe page to reflect its eventual demise. Customers are advised that MobileMe is no longer accepting new subscribers.
Current members will still be able to access everything through June 30, 2012 and are re-directed to a login page.
Apple has also published a knowledge base article with information about MobileMe box and subscription refunds and cancellations. Another KB covers the transition process.
