AT&T Launches Larger Shared Data Plans Starting at 30GB

AT&T announced larger shared data plans aimed at the business market on Monday. Starting March 22nd, the company will offer 30GB, 40GB, and 50GB data plans at US$300, $400, and $500 per month (respectively), plus $30 per smartphone.

The plans include unlimited talk and text, as well as tethering capability. It looks something like this:

Other devices can be added to the plan, as well: "Basic and quick messaging phones" are also $30 per month, while laptops, LaptopConnect cards, and netbooks are $20 per month. Tablets and "gaming devices" are $10 per month.

There's a limit on the number of devices that can be added to each plan. For businesses, 30GB plans can have 15 devices, 40GB plans can have 20 devices, and 50GB plans can have 25 devices. Consumers are limited to 10 devices per plan.

Ma Bell is also offering new data-only shared data plans ranging from 4GB to 50GB. Those plans are priced between $30 and $335 per month.

The new shared data plan options should be available on AT&T's website starting on Friday, March 22nd.
