AT&T Offers $30 Price Cut for Unlimited Plans

· by · News

AT&T lowered the price for its smartphone unlimited voice and data plans on Monday by US$30. The price reduction is also available to current customers with unlimited smartphone plans.

iPhone and other smartphone owners can get unlimited voice and data for US$99.99 a month, or $179.99 for Family Talk plans with two phones. Pricing for unlimited text plans, however, stayed at $20 for individuals and $30 for Family Talk plans.

AT&T is taking steps to make current unlimited plan customers happy by offering the price reduction to them, too. Current customers can switch to the lower price plan without paying any extra fees or extending their current contract.

Additional information about AT&T's new unlimited plan price structure is available at the AT&T Web site.

AT&T is taking steps to avoid making current unlimited plan customers happy

Before anyone calls this a typo, it isn’t one.

It would be nice if they included unlimited texting in that price.

AT&T policies generally do seem to be designed to avoid making customers happy, but I suspect this is a typo!
