AudioEngine Drops Prices on Wireless Audio Adapters

SAN FRANCISCO - AudioEngine announced Thursday that it had lowered prices on its wireless audio adapters. The AW1 is now available for US$99 (from $149), while the AW2 for iPods is now priced at $119 (from $169).

The AW1, an adapter that can be used with any audio out, including your Mac to wirelessly send music to your powered speakers or stereo receiver, while the AW2 allows users to wirelessly send music to from their iPods. Both devices transmit the sound without reducing audio quality and without adding additional compression.

AudioEngine is showing at Macworld at booth #1484.
