Barnes & Noble Releases iPad Ebook Reader App

Book retailer Barnes & Noble’s eReader app for the iPad arrived on Apple’s App Store on Thursday, bringing yet another ebook reader option to the multimedia tablet.

BN eReader for iPad can sync books with Barnes & Noble’s Nook ebook reader, supports the company’s LendMe feature that lets users share books, supports multiple font sizes and text colors, synchronizes notes and highlights with the BN eReader application for the PC, and includes a built-in version of the Merriam-Webster Pocket Dictionary.

Bn eReader for iPad is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
