BBEdit Adds HTML5 Support, More

Bare Bones announced the immediate availability of BBEDit 9.6 on Tuesday. The update for the text and code editor for Mac OS X added auto-complete support for HTML5, along with the ability to open substantially larger files.

Version 9.6 includes what company CEO Rich Siegel called the application’s “biggest internal reworking in recent history.”

The updated applicaiton includes the ability to run Automator workflows from the Script menu, better CSS auto-complete support, the ability to edit text views in browsing windows, FTP support and reliability has been improved, and more.

BBEdit 9.6 is priced at Us$125 and is available at the Bare Bones Web site.
