Blizzard Sets 2009 BlizzCon Dates

| Games

Blizzard Entertainment on Tuesday announced that the 2009 edition of its annual BlizzCon get-together will be held August 21-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The publisher, known for its Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo franchises, noted that the convention has been expanded from three halls last year to four this year.

Fans will get the chance to not only try out the company's upcoming Starcraft II and Diablo III games but also participate in discussion panels with Blizzard developers, engage in tournaments, and more. The publisher said it will update its BlizzCon web site closer to the event; right now, the site still reflects last year's convention.

Awesome! I’m eager to know what will happen in the convention. Now that they have released Starcraft2 for beta test, more players will be enticed to try a new one. Maybe there are other s like me who also needs a time away from playing WoW and trying out Starcraft2 is not a bad idea.
