Bloomberg: Amazon to Announce Kindle Fire Tablet

Amazon’s media event hasn’t quite started yet, but that didn’t stop Bloomberg from announcing that the company is introducing the Kindle Fire priced at US$199.

The tablet is said to include a 7-inch color display, will include a 30 day trial of Amazon Prime, which means buyers will get a month of streaming video access along with two-day shipping on anything they buy. Amazon Prime is priced at US$79 a year.
