Blue Room Software announced the immediate availability of ImageArchiver for Lightroom 1.0 on Tuesday. The plug-in for Lightroom 2 lets users export image collections to disk images and compressed archives.

The plug-in supports Zip, Gzip and Bzip2 archives, TAR and Mac OS X virtual disk images. It requires Lightroom 2, at least a G4 or Intel-based Mac, and Mac OS X 10.4 or higher.

ImageArchiver for Lightroom 1.0 is priced at US$9.95 and is available for download at the Blue Room Software Web site.
