Boingo Rolls Out iTunes-based Wi-Fi Credits

· by · Product News

Boingo announced the immediate availability of its new iPhone, iPod touch and iPad app that lets users purchase Wi-Fi access credits through their iTunes account on Monday. The app lets customers purchase Boingo Wi-Fi Internet access in one hour increments when they connect to any of the company’s hotspots, and can help find hotspot locations.

The Boingo Wi-Fi Credits also lets users purchase credits ahead of connecting to Boingo hotspots, and credits are good for one year from the date of purchase. One hour credits cost US$1.99 each, and unlimited global hotspot access costs $7.95 a month.

The Boingo Wi-Fi Credits is free and available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
