Twelve South announced Tuesday the BookBook case for iPhone, a case that literally looks like a book - a tattered and worn leather-bound book. In addition to holding your iPhone 4, it also has slots for credit cards and your driver’s license like a wallet.
The case itself is made of leather, and the company said that it offers edge-to-edge access to your iPhone. All buttons and ports are likewise accessible. The case it also handstiched, and the interior is lined in suede.
The BookBook case is available now and is priced at US$59.99.

edge to edge, something wasn’t possible with a previous case from Griffin.
It would of been better if the phone was easily removable. Who’s going to hold a wallet up to their head to talk?
I suppose that you can fold the driver’s license half back and not have it flopping around, but then there is a possibility of losing credit cards. But yeah, how easy it is to remove the iPhone so you can put it in a dock.
I do like the look of it.
Very impressed. Want one but they charge $50 postage to Oz. :-(
really want one but it’s $50 postage to Oz :-(
Rose how about you & me treat ourselves to one each when we meet up in next year’s Macworld?
I really like it.
It seems to be a trend to make compact wallets without space for change. I wonder where people keep change? Loose in a pocket? Hardly, it doesn’t tend to stay there.
been using it for a month, love it!
