Boot Camp 5.1 updater adds Windows 64-bit driver supportApple released a Boot Camp 5 update that added 64-bit driver support for Windows 7 and Windows 8 on Tuesday. Instead of a single updater file, Apple has two updaters to choose from depending on which model Mac you own.

Boot Camp is Apple's utility that lets Mac owners choose to boot their computer with OS X or Windows, and it offers Windows support for the Mac's built-in components and accessories.

Boot Camp 5.1.5621 is compatible with:

  • MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013)
  • MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013)
  • MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)
  • MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
  • iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)
  • iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)
  • iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)

Boot Camp 5.1.5640 is compatible with:
