Boot Camp Drivers 2.2 Adds Magic Mouse Support

· by · News

Apple rolled out Boot Camp Drivers Update 2.2 for Windows on Thursday. The update for Boot Camp users running Windows on their Mac includes driver support for Apple's wireless keyboard new Magic Mouse.

The update also improved support for Apple trackpads, and shuts off the red LED in the digital audio port on laptops when not in use. Apple's release notes state the update "is intended only for use with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista running on a Mac computer using Boot Camp."

For now, Windows 7 isn't officially supported with Boot Camp.

Boot Camp Drivers Update 2.2 for Windows requires Boot Camp 2.1, and is available as a free download at the Apple Support Web site.
