BusyCal Beta Adds MobileMe Beta Support

· by · Product News

BusyMac released a public beta version of BusyCal 1.5 on Tuesday. The test version for an upcoming update for the iCal-compatible calendar application added the ability to sync data with Apple’s MobileMe Calendar beta.

The version 1.5 beta includes CalDAV support, continues to calendars on your local network, and still supports Google Calendar. BusyMac warns, however, that “upgrading to the MobileMe Calendar beta may require significant changes to your calendar sharing workflow and affect other members of your workgroup.”

Any calendars users want to sync between their Mac, MobileMe and their iOS devices must be hosted on MobileMe, but MobileMe calendars can be published over local networks and to Google Calendar.

BusyCal is priced at US$49 and is available for download at the BusyMac Web site.
