BusyMac Ships BusyCal 1.0

· by · Product News

BusyMac announced the immediate availability of BusyCal 1.0 on Tuesday. BusyCal is a calendar application that shares calendars on local networks or over the Internet, and synchronizes with Google Calendar.

The application doesn't require a calendar server to share calendars, lets users view and edit shared calendar events, lets users create to dos, supports recurring to dos, supports customized event colors, and posting sticky notes on events. Events are customizable as well, so users can apply custom font styles, display graphics, and show live weather feeds and moon phases in events.

BusyCal is Sync Services-compatible, so users can synchronize their calendar data with iCal, MobileMe, the iPhone and iPod touch, and more. The application requires Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6, and is BusySync-compatible, too.

BusyCal is priced at US$40 and is available at the BusyMac Web site.
