Callpod Intros Keeper Desktop Encrypted Data Storage App

· by · Product News

Callpod announced the immediate availability of Keeper Desktop on Friday. The application lets Mac OS X users store sensitive information such as passwords, bank account numbers, and notes in an encrypted database.

The application offers military-grade encryption, data backup, synchronization with Keeper Mobile for the iPhone and iPod touch via Wi-Fi, a self-destruct mode that erases the database after five unsuccessful attempts to access the data, and more.

Keeper Desktop is priced at US$14.95 and is available at the Callpod Web site. Keeper Mobile is free and available through Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
