Carina Commemorates Apollo 11 with Free Astronomy Apps

Carina Software will be commemorating the 40th anniversary of the first time humans walked on the moon on July 20 by offering its astronomy applications for the Mac and iPhone for free. The company will be offering download-only versions of its SkyVoyager and SkyGazer apps for the Mac, iPhone and iPod touch free of charge for the day on Monday, June 20.

On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11’s Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to set foot on the moon.

Serial numbers for the Mac versions of the applications will be available at Carina Software’s Web site, and the free iPhone and iPod touch versions SkyVoyager and SkyGazer will be available at Apple’s App Store.
