Case Design Hints at iPod touch Camera

· by · Rumor

An image that appears to be a case for a fourth generation iPod touch is fueling rumors that the touch-based iPod will finally get a digital camera as part of its next upgrade. As always, the information comes from unnamed sources that claim to know exactly what they’re talking about, according to Hardmac.com.

The supposedly leaked case image shows an iPod touch that looks just like the current third generation model, but with the addition of a camera and flash on the back.

Aside from an anonymous source claiming the image is legit, there isn’t any tangible information supporting the notion that the next generation iPod touch really will have a camera. With the introduction of FaceTime video chatting with the iPhone 4, however, the likelihood that the next iPod touch will sport a camera seems a little more likely.
