CES Expands Apple Area for 2010 Convention

· by · News

The Consumer Electronics Show looks to be taking its Apple product pavilion seriously and is doubling the floor space for Mac, iPod and iPhone products to 25,000 square feet. The pavilion will now also include an area just for application developers.

The Consumer Electronics Association added the Apple-specific pavilion area to its 2010 CES tradeshow for consumer technology after Apple announced that 2009 would be the last year it participated in Macworld Expo. CES has been hoping to draw in many of the vendors that historically have participated in Macworld Expo.

CES is scheduled for January 7 through January 10, 2010 in Las Vegas. Macworld Expo will run from February 9 through February 13, 2010 in San Francisco.
