Chuck La Tournous and John F. Braun Talk Tech Battles, iCloud, and More

The Mac Observer's Chuck La Tournous and John F. Braun both hit the podcast circuit this week to talk about the controversy between open and closed tech ecosystems, how consumer apps fit in the iCloud world, the just released Steve Jobs biopic, and more. Chuck spent his time talking on The Mac Jury, and John paid a visit to Not Another Mac Podcast.

TMO Contributing Editor Chuck La Tournous joined a panel of pundits on the latest edition of Chuck Joiner's MacJury podcast. Starting out with a look at the "battle" between so-called Open and Closed ecosystems, including of course Android and iOS (and some thoughts on why Android is ahead of iOS in market share), the discussion also delved into TV and movie content distribution and other tangents. Along with Chuck were fellow jurors Peter Cohen of The Loop and iMore and Weldon Dodd of Rewind Technology. The video podcast is available from The Mac Voices website.

John F. Braun on Not Another Mac PodcastJohn joined Not Another Mac Podcast host Mark Greentree, Kirschen Seah from Free Range Coder , and The Mac Mommy's Melissa Davis to talk about Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs biopic, digital photography, consumer-level apps that rely on iCloud, , and more.
