Civil War History Comes to the iPhone, iPad

MultiEducator announced the immediate availability of Civil War America’s Epic Struggle 1.0 on Thursday. The app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad is a portable history of the U.S. Civil War and includes photos, articles and biographies.

The app includes over 1,000 photos, more than 100 maps, multimedia presentations, 18 navigation categories, timelines, and more. Detailed coverage of several battles, such as Antietam, Bull Run, Fredericksburg, Fort Sumter, Gettysburg, New Orleans and Sherman’s March to the Sea, is included, too.

Civil War America’s Epic Struggle 1.0 is priced at US$4.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
