CNN Comes to the iPad

CNN moved beyond the iPhone’s small screen on Tuesday with the launch of its CNN app for the iPad. Like the iPhone and iPod touch version, the iPad app displays the news network’s articles, photos and video clips.

The app lets iPad users scan headlines, read articles, view slideshows, watch live video comment on the news, share articles via Twitter and Facebook, and save articles for offline viewing. Users can also receive push notifications for breaking news stories.

CNN for the iPad is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
