Software developer Maintain, creators of the popular Cocktail (Leopard Edition) utility announced version 4.2.2 of their program on Thursday. The new version, a 1.8 megabyte download, adds compatibility with Apple's recently released Mac OS X 10.5.6 update as well as addresses an issue in which clearing of user caches may cause Mobile Me synchronization to fail.
Cocktail 4.2.2 (Leopard Edition) is distributed as a Universal Binary and runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. Cocktail 4.2.2 (Leopard Edition) requires Mac OS X or Mac OS X Server 10.5 or later and is tested for compatibility with Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server 10.5.6.
The program retails for a $14.95 shareware registration fee and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later to install and run.
