· by · News

Cultured Code announced the immediate availability of Things 1.0 Release Candidate on Tuesday. The company plans to release the final shipping version of the task management application during Macworld Expo & Conference in San Francisco next week.

The release candidate includes the ability to perform global searches, filter by due date, added a restructured Today list, refined the sidebar, made the distinction between projects and areas of responsibility clearer, and unified the editing of projects.

Things 1.0 will require Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher and is priced at US$49.95. The public release candidate is available for download at the Cultured Code Web site.

I have been using Things for the last few weeks and really like it.
Works well and is reasonably priced (except for those whiners who want everything for zero$).

If you decide to commit to using Things you need to know that the developers are very methodical Germans who create and release at their pace.
