Dare to be Creative Intros Parachute Backup App for the Mac

Dare to be Creative announced the immediate availability of Parachute 1.0 for the Mac on Wednesday. Parachute is a data backup utility for Mac OS X 10.5 and higher that supports automated backups to several types of storage devices and Internet-based storage, too.

The application backs up data to external hard drives, USB flash drives, networked disks, FTP and SFTP sites, WebDAV servers, and MobileMe iDisk. It supports incremental data backups, and can be set to automatically backup on an hourly, daily, weekly and monthly schedule.

Parachute 1.0 is priced at US$39 and is available for download at the Parachute Web site.
