| News

St. Clair Software released Default Folder X 4.4.1 on Friday. The newest version of the popular file dialog utility which provides quick access to keyboard shortcuts and recently used folders corrects compatibility issues with Firefox and Hazel, and eliminates several problems that occurred when the Finder was busy or when users logged out, restarted, or shut down their Macs.

Default Folder X 4.1.1 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later to install and run, and weighs in as a 10.2 megabyte download.

The newest version is a free update for users who purchased a license or upgrade on or after June 1, 2007. The upgrade is $14.95 for users who bought their licenses before that date, and $34.95 for new users.
