· by · Product News

Digital Anarchy announced the immediate availability of two new effects plug-ins for Apple's Aperture on Wednesday. Knoll Light Factory 3.0 creates specialized lighting effects, and ToonIt! Photo 2.0 converts digital photos into cartoon-like images.

Knoll Light Factory creates a wide range of realistic light and flare effects such as sun rays, street lamps, headlights, candle flames, light rays and glows, and also creates sci-fi lighting effects. ToonIt! Photo analyzes images and builds flat color regions with outlines to simulate cel-shaded animations and comic-style art including flat cartoons, graphic novel, comic, and pen and ink.

Knoll Light Factory and ToonIt! Photo for Aperture are priced at US$129 each.
