Digital Chocolate Releases Two New iPhone Games September 25th, 2009 at 2:38 PM - Games by Brad Cook Digital Chocolate released a pair of new iPhone games: Haunted 3D Rollercoaster Rush, based on its original 3D Rollercoaster Rush, and the action/adventure game Captain Galactic: Super Space Hero. Haunted 3D Rollercoaster Rush (US$4.99; iPhone OS 2.1) is a spooky follow-up to the original. Players use their device's accelerometer to accelerate and brake the rollercoaster as they make their way through 40 tracks. Each track features a Challenge Race Mode against a haunted ghost train, and two-player games via Bluetooth are supported in iPhone OS 3.1. A free limited version of the game is available too. In Captain Galactic ($2.99; iPhone OS 2.1), players try to save the universe as they travel from planet to planet across 30 levels. A dozen different types of enemies stand in the way, as well as six planet-sized bosses. Energy stars give players superhuman boosts of power.
