The Drobo S also includes USB 2.0 support, along with two FireWire 800 ports and an eSATA port. So far, Apple isn’t supporting USB 3.0 on the Mac, but there are ExpressCard and PCI Express-based third-party adapters available.

Users looking to add the Drobo S to their backup routine will pay US$799 for the unit without drives, or up to $1,799 with 10 TB storage pre-installed.
