Dropbox 1.2 for iPhone Adds iPad Support

· by · Product News

Dropbox released version 1.2 of its self-named app for the iPhone, and now the iPad, late on Monday. The app gives users access to the content in their online Dropbox account, and the new version added an iPad native interface.

The update also added the ability to open documents stored in your Dropbox with other apps on the iPad.

Dropbox 1.2 requires a Dropbox account. Users can create free accounts at the Dropbox Web site.

The app is available as a free download at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
