UAE residents finally have a firm date for du's iPhone launch: October 27. du CEO Osman Sultan confirmed the date and said his company would offer "attractive data plans," according to Gulf News.

du competitor Etisalat will also carry the iPhone in the UAE, but hasn't narrowed its launch window down beyond the end of October.
Customers that sign up for their iPhone ahead of time are promised to get their combination iPod and smartphone within three days of the release. They don't, however, know yet exactly how much they'll be paying for the phone or their service contracts.
