Xeric Design announced the immediate availability of EarthDesk 5.4 on Tuesday. The update for the animated Earth Desktop map added the ability to display a single animated map across multiple displays.

Version 5.4 also added seasonal maps with snow and vegetation levels, the ability to display star map backgrounds, improved resolution for cloud data on large displays, added the ability to adjust brightness and background color, improved rendering, and more.

EarthDesk 5.4 is priced at US$24.95 and is available for download at the Xeric Design Web site.
