EA announced Friday the release of TeeShotLive, an iPhone app that allows users to track their real-life performance, share information with other golfers, calculate their handicap, and download information about 9,000 community-maintained golf courses around the U.S. Using GPD information, users can also view their locations on a virtual representation of those golf courses.
Off the course, users can use the TeeShotLive Web site to store and share statistics and scorecards, organize custom groups and events, create virtual tournaments and upload, review and compare various equipment and gear with their friends and the community.
TeeShotLive is priced at US$.99 at the App Store.
