The Economist is the latest magazine to make a digital appearance on the iPad and iPhone. The publication announced on Wednesday that it will release it’s Economist app on the App Store this Friday.

Subscribers to the print version of The Economist will have free access to the content in the electronic version, and a digital-only subscription will be available for US$110 a year, too.
The Economist app will be available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store on Friday as a free download.
