Encrypt Mail Keeps Prying Eyes Out of Messages

· by · Product News

Apimac announced the immediate availability of Encrypt Mail 1.0 for Mac OS X on Friday. Encrypt Mail lets users send encrypted messages and attachments to Mac OS X, Windows and Linux users.

Users can assign unique passwords to each message, they can drag-and-drop files to create new messages, the app supports DMG and ZIP files, and more. Message recipients don't need to have Encrypt Mail installed since they receive the encrypted messages as password-protected attachments.

Encrypt Mail requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and runs natively on Intel and PowerPC-based Macs. It is priced at US$29.95 and is available for download at the Apimac Web site.
