equinux Announces Asant? Router Support For VPN Tracker

equinux has announced expanded compatibility for VPN Tracker. VPN Tracker is a client utility designed for securing encrypted remote access connections for Mac OS X workgroups. The app features support for the Asanté FriendlyNET VR2004 router. According to equinux:

equinux today announced compatibility between VPN Tracker 2.2.7 and the Asanté FriendlyNET VR2004 series allowing Mac users to establish a secure virtual private network (VPN) connection to Asanté routers.

Mac OS X users now have the opportunity to configure a VPN Tunnel over the Internet to their Asanté gateway from remote locations and safely access, connect and use computer and corporate networks. Using the IPsec protocol transferring data, chatting and any other network traffic will be encrypted and remain inaccessible for any unauthorized users.
