Evernote Adds Social Networking Features, More

Evernote announced the immediate availability of Evernote 2.1 for the Mac on Tuesday. The update for the cloud-based information management utility added support for sharing content via social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

The new sharing features let Evernote users share notes via social networking services or email, added the ability to record audio notes, add audio to existing notes, improved search performance for large databases, fixed several bugs, and more.

Using the Evernote application requires a free online account, available at the Evernote Web site. The Mac OS X Evernote application is available at the Evernote Web site and Apple’s Mac App Store as a free download.

As of 10:48 MDT 2.0.5 is the only version on their site and the Mac App Store site.
