Cramzy announced the immediate availability of Experimenter 1.0 on Tuesday. Experimenter is an iPhone and iPod touch application that includes several science experiments users can try at home.

The app includes 14 experiments along with step-by-step instructions designed to teach users more about physics and chemistry. It includes instructions for experimenting with Pepsi and Mentos fountains, making foam, glowing water, fireproof ballons, and more.

Experimenter 1.0 is priced at US$0.99 and is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.

Now, if there were only a video microscope that could plug into the iPhone with the proper connector to make this a more functional science lab….

Heck with the microscope! I want sensors!

Spectrum analyzers,interferometers,gas analyzers, that’s the kind of stuff we need!

That’s right, I’m talking Tri-Corder baby! Pressure sensor coupled with a heat or motion sensor and compass could detect creepy aliens, or ninjas sneaky up on you.

I’m telling you, this will happen. Someone will make an iPhone accessory that will make it act like a tri-corder. It’s just a matter of time. (Which we don’t have cuz aliens and ninjas never wait till you’re ready)
