Eye-Fi Intros Apple-exclusive 2GB Geo Camera Card

Eye-Fi announced the immediate availability of the Eye-Fi Geo on Wednesday. The Wi-Fi enabled SD camera card supports geotagging and iPhoto's Places feature, includes 2GB of storage, and is available only at Apple Stores and the Apple Web site.

The Geo is compatible with iPhoto '08 and iPhoto '09, MobileMe, and the Eye-Fi application for the iPhone. Auto-uploading images to social networking and photo sharing sites, including MobileMe, requires a US$9.99 annual fee.

The Eye-Fi Geo is priced at $59.99 and is available exclusively through Apple.

MobileMe is $99.99, not $9.99 year (less through Amazon)

Er… I don’t get it… all the other Eye-Fi cards work with my mac just fine…
