FileMaker announced the immediate availability of an updated version of its FileMaker Technical Resource Kit with new modules that show how to build FileMaker Pro databases for FileMaker Go on the iPhone and iPad. FileMaker Go is the company’s mobile database app designed for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

The updated kit includes a self-paced module showing how to optimize and deploy databases for iOS devices, how to work with scripts and calculations in FileMaker Go, and how to pass data between mobile apps and FileMaker Go. It also includes three modules detailing FileMaker layouts, creating reports, and database security.
FileMaker is offering the Technical Resource Kit as a free download. It is available for download at the FileMaker Web site.
