Apple released an update for Final Cut Pro X late on Tuesday that added support for RED cameras along with native REDCODE RAW editing. Final Cut Pro is Apple's professional nonlinear video editing application for the Mac.
Final Cut Pro X gets RED camera support
Along with RED camera support, the 10.0.6 update alos added a unified import window for transferring media from file-based cameras and folders, added support for expanding multichannel audio files in the timeline, added MXF plug-in support, can now include chapter markers in the timeline, lets users choose which effects to include when copying clips, added XML 1.2 metadata import and export, and more.

Which is better: Final Cut Pro X or Final Cut Express ?
I’m asking because I wonder if the upgrade from Express to Pro X is worth it or not…
