· by · Product News

Apple released Mac Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.5 late on Thursday to address a Boot Picker issue and a problem with firmware passwords.

Apple’s Mac Pro

The firmware update fixes a problem where the Boot Picker doesn’t appear for Mac Pros that don’t have a DHCP address and are on an Ethernet-based network. It also addresses an issue where the firmware password prompt doesn’t display.

Mac Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.5 requires Mac OS X 10.6.4 and a mid-2010 Mac Pro. It’s available as a free download at the Apple Support Web site.
