Aero Visions International announced Friday the release of iHUD 2.0, an update to the company's flight-based heads up display that the company says turns your iPhone into a mobile glass cockpit. The update adds new features involving the camera, as well as a new way to use the built-in digital compass in the iPhone 3GS.
The new features:
- Augmented reality (AR) with camera overlaid by the HUD spatial motion visualization (devices with camera only)
- iHUD motion display projection to windshield for night reflective vision
- Alternative use of onboard magnetic compass or GPS for heading information (for iPhone 3GS and newer), switchable on the fly
The app is priced at US$5.99, and is available now on the App Store.
