Toon Boom Animation announced Wednesday the release of Flip Boom Classic 4. The new version of the animation software aimed at kids and other beginner animators adds the ability to directly record a voice over for one’s animations.
The software is aimed at kids 6 and up (and other beginners), and allows users to quickly make animations based on simple drawings. The voice recording option is the center piece of the new version.
Flip Boom Classic 4 is priced at US$39.95, a price that includes a tutorial and an Easter clip art package (Toon Boom said the bundled extras make the package worth $87.95).
