Flipboard updated its Flipboard for iPad app on Thursday with support for the Instagram photo sharing service. Flipboard is a magazine-style app for the iPad that shows news and social networking site posts.

The version 1.2 update also added the ability to search for content on blogs and social networks at the same time, and improved content loading performance.
Flipboard is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
