FontXChange 3 Improves Web Font Support

FontGear announced the immediate availability of FontXChange 3.0 on Tuesday. The new version of the font conversion utility for Mac OS X improved expanded Web font support to include WOFF, SVG and EOT formats.

FontXChange converts font files from one format to another and includes support for OpenType (PostScript), PostScript Type 1, Mac and Windows TrueType, and Web Fonts. The application includes a font inspection window with previews, batch processing for converting font libraries, and supports Adobe Standard, Unicode, Mac Roman, and Windows ANSI, and European encodings.

In addition to improving Web font support, version 3.0 also added the ability to create HTML files when exporting to Web font formats, updated the user interface, and improved font previews.

FontXChange 3.0 is priced at US$99 and is available at the FontGear Web site.
